MobillCash is wholly owned by Vidicom Ltd., founded in 2003. It is headquartered in the U.K. and currently operational in the U.K., USA, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Austria and Spain.
Furthermore, MobillCash is in the process of roll-out in Canada, Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine, Australia, India, South Africa and Denmark.
The MobillCash payment technology was developed in 2004 (USA patent pending). An extensive Beta testing was conducted from July 2006 to December 2006. Live systems were successfully tested from January to August 2007. Now the technology is in full use and spreading rapidly.
To date, there have been over 1 million transactions (Nov '07). The number of transactions is growing at a 15% month-to-month rate. Exponential growth is expected in Q1 2008 as new agreements become active.
